I’m Kristin. I’m a wife, a mom, a friend. I’m also a communications professional who traded a dream career in school public relations for a work-from-home adventure … that eventually led me back to the sort of work I left behind.
But just beneath my purposefully-worded, properly outfitted exterior, it gets a little crazy. I have second thoughts. And third thoughts. I’m wired to communicate with strategy and solve problems. I tolerate the Oxford comma. I minimize notifications on all my devices. I have a love-hate relationship with parallel sentence structure, and a hate-hate relationship with tri-fold brochures.
I hang out in the arena, which is neither tidy nor comfortable. But I am guided by clear principles that have led me to a life of happy and healthy. I trust my gut. I depend on a hefty dose of God’s grace (and corresponding divine sense of humor) to navigate each day. I set boundaries in work and in life. And I believe that it’s better to be kind than right.
(Which means I can often be found reminding myself to stop trying to prove I’m right.)
Here I welcome all those who show up and work hard. Who desire a life that prioritizes family and wellness over anything else. Who are just as likely to love, as to laugh.
And all those who believe that it’s worth the investment to find uncommon wellness.
